Darling's 14 Week Update

Bump Pics!



Little Darling's Size: A Lemon, approx 3 1/4 inches long

Countdown: 182 Days to go!  Due Easter :)

Clothing: Many of my jeans are starting to not fit :(  Belly band? I heard mix reviews about them..

What I Miss: Yep, still WINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Red wine to be specific :)

Cravings: Not too many things right now, my hunger has subsided a bit.. Still need to to snack throughout the day, but I feel like I'm getting a handle on my nutrition! YAY!
Exercising: Walking with friends weekly, but not enough. My goal is to hit the gym for 30 min cardio! 2x's /week.  I'm a therapist and working with patients all day is a nice workout of its self..but I'm in need of cardio!
Symptoms: Teeth/gums are feeling better, but hmm headaches..no bueno! Still exhausted at the end of the day.. naps..!  Oh, and my stomach is itching like crazy. I purchased a concoction at Whole Foods... cross your fingers :)

Total Weight Gain: I will step on a scale in two weeks! We will see.. I don't personally own a scale...

Gender: Yep, still thinking boy...  we find out in 6 weeks & 2 days! 

Sleep:  Doing great this past week! May buy a humidifier... sleeping off and on with body pillow. Mr. Southbay was introduced to it last weekend... working out good!

Movement:Nada!

On a Positive Note: Planning our Gender Reveal Party!!!! I'm super excited!!! Its scheduled the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving!! More details to follow!!! I <3 planning parties!

A Message To Our Darling: Two more weeks till we get to see you on the monitor again! I'm getting inpatient...  :) I can't wait to see how much you have grown and changed!!!

  1. Such a cute bump! You look more pregnant than I did at 14 weeks!

    By this time in my pregnancy, I caved in and got maternity pants. I got a pair of jeans and a pair of black pants with the lower panels because the full ones were still too big until later on. For me, the low paneled ones got uncomfy when I was big, so I needed both types. I highly recommend getting a couple low panel pairs because you can wear them after the baby comes before you fit back into your old jeans (I speak from experience as someone who is still wearing their maternity jeans 4.5 months after having her son even though she weighs less than she did when she got pregnant).
