Growing!!

I believe these photos are about 5 weeks apart...

OMG he is growing like a weed! We are almost at 6 months people!!

Yes, I haven't been a good blogger..but that also means I have been on the move! I have a couple of blog posts coming up on our last mini day trip and wow we hit a milestone folks..Andrew has been consistently rolling over...its soo.much.fun!

I have also been learning to use my SLR on manual...lots to learn there too!! But..here is one that came out pretty good.. Andrew's expression is priceless!

We are heading into October!!

For some reason I am super excited about this!!

Playing Catch Up!

My life..in just a few words lately has been all.over.the.place. I totally get the phrase... "full time mother.." as an occupation. Mr. Southbay has been working a TON. I'm so grateful that our little guy has been such a great baby.. I can't complain... not one bit! 

This past week..I learned I have hyperthyroidism and well it has definitely put a bit of a scare in me. Besides losing tons of hair..horrific headaches...etc I am anxious to get my results back from a thyroid ultrasound. It is also taking forever to get in with a specialist too which doesn't help one bit. So, my days right now are just trying to stay active..and keeping me "busy" per se... So there is little room for my mind to wander off to "what if" ville.....

This past weekend we went to our church picnic and I did a kolo while holding Andrew! OMG..my arm was ready to fall off :) but he loved it! (A kolo is a circle dance, ethnic). Here is a picture of him just showing how much fun he was having!

My girlfriend did a "boppy nogin" search on Google and on page 6 she came across Andrew's picture.. my lil guy is famous! :)  2nd row, last pic. Oh now that put a smile on my face!!!

 

 One day last week while I was cooking dinner I turned around and saw Andrew's bib turned into a cape! How adorable!!!!! OMG....It made me melt!

 

We just purchased him an exersaucer and he absolutely LOVES it... We went with this one from Evenflo.I totally recommend it!!! 

Can you believe that the summer is coming to an end? Wow that went fast! We booked a 6 month photo session for our family and I'm totally looking forward to this!!

Drew's 5 Month Update!

*Babbling non-stop! Too cute!

*Weight 16.2lbs   43.5 cm head circumference, 25 1/8 in length, Had your 4 month Dr. Appt and all is good! We split up some of the vaccinations..

*Moving into 6 month clothes.. 6-9 yikes!

*Size 2 Diapers but I think by the end of next week you will be in size 3 already!

*7 Ounce feedings every three hours.

*Just started rice cereal by spoon. Ha... I think more of it gets on your face and clothing :) Don't let this picture fool you... lots of unhappy sounds ..and frowing did occur! You just wanted your bottle!

 *Rolling over a bit more now..it is not consistent yet. But now you can go from your back to your belly... or belly to your back.

*Still smiling all.the.time.

*Went to your first baseball game!

*Went to Chocolate World and rode the ride :) In fact, you even received your very first Chocolate World t-shirt!! It must have shrunk ..cause wow its small on you! Darn!

It's hard to stay still for pictures!

*You are LOVING your new exersaucer !!!!!

*There is only one pacifier that you absolutely love.. The Stash... if we ever lose it.. that would be a catastrophe. We have tried soo many others...and have yet to find one that compares!

*First trip to State College!!! We walked all over downtown and on campus. We got you a shirt and a cute lil PSU lion! You did great on this mini day trip.

*On Sept 1, was your first PSU game! The family..including you got all decked out in PSU gear. We watched the game at Gigi & Papi's house! Ha..you were really fired up for the game!

*Still loving your baths....and that time right before bed when we sit on the couch and stare at each other...I melt....That moment when you are so calm..ready to head off to dream land...

*We think your eyes may be starting to change color :(  Gigi really wanted them to stay "pacific blue!"

*Taking  naps consistently in your pack n play.. and the goal is to have you sleeping in your crib by next week! Your naps last about one hour.. and typically I can get you down for at least three. Bedtime..is any where from 7:30 to 8:30. Just depends on our day..and if we did any long travels..!

Andrew was at the doctors last week and he is already up to 16lbs...he is growing too fast for me :)
