Registry Items!

Here are just few of my favorite registry finds! We are really happy with the quality and have gotten tons of recommendations from Moms & Dads!  Every day it feels like there is a new item coming out... so, we just went with our gut and our budget!

1.Boppy Upholstered Newborn Lounger- A few Mom's mentioned this lounger and I figured why not! Easy to clean too!

2.Chicco Lullaby Magic Playard - Rattania-  Really love the quality! Worth the extra dollars for sure! The owl mobile is absolutely adorable!!!  The fabric is soft... I could take in a nap in there.... :)

3.Angelcare Video, Movement and Sound Baby Monitor System- After reading one pamphlet on SIDS, I was determined to spend the money on this monitor system. Video, Audio and Movement. It just better work right!! :) Kept the receipt!  We also held out to use a 20% off coupon! 

4.Fisher-Price Cradle Swing - My Little Snug-a-Bunny- Every Mom out there has had nothing but good things to say about this swing! We put it together, and oh my its adorbs!

5.KidKraft Adjustable Nursing Stool -We got this to go with our new leather rocker. MUCH cheaper than getting an ottoman! Plus, the espresso finish matches perfectly with the furniture.... 

6.BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Air- I wanted black, but they only sell those online and I had my 20% off coupon! But, I took it out of the box and I really don't mind this grey/white/red combo... It is going to be warm this Spring/Summer so these colors will also less absorb those hot sun rays!

7. Fisher-Price Newborn Rock N Play Sleeper- Our Little Darling will be sleeping in here at first!  Easy, lightweight, portable, and it rocks...
 

 

8. My Breast Friend- I heard different things..from different Moms... So, I just decided on one! It's all a learning process. What works for one person, may not for the next!

These are just  few of our favorite finds! If there is anything else you recommend for an infant..and their first couple weeks home please share! I didn't list everything, that would take forever :) All items were found at BabiesRUs! 

It's funny, as I was going thru my registry to see what else was left..what we needed right away..I found myself changing my mind on almost more than half the items... different brand, color and size... so, I didn't even use the 10% discount they give to finish up your registry! Plus, I really used those 20% coupons to our advantage!!!

I can't believe we have 9 days to go!!!

Darling's 38th Week Update

ohh, I'm big!

Little Darling's Size: A Pumpkin in size!  Yes, I would concur.. He is huge! 

 

Countdown: 14 days to go!!  what!!

Clothing: Stretchy clothing!

 
What I Miss: WINE!!! Lately, I could use a glass daily!

Cravings: Nothing in particular... I can only eat a little at a time! Food is just not a focus anymore..

 
Exercising:  Walking...

 
Symptoms:Ha... I see they call if lightning crotch... yeah I have that! I mean, when I read the description of it..it was sooo what I have been experiencing!  Anxiety is HIGH! Thank goodness I'm able to take tylenol pm!!!  Tons of PRESSURE... last night I thought he was coming for sure!

Total Weight Gain:And...back down to 144lbs...

 

Gender: ITS A LITTLE MAN!!!! We decided to keep his name a secret till the day of his birth!

Sleep: The Doctor said to take some Tylenol PM..to help me sleep... I'm so darn anxious! I can get comfy fast though..so that is good!

Movement:  He is getting low :)

On a Positive Note: Our chair was delivered!  Looks good and its comfy! Just need to pick up a couple more items... then we are set... figure if we need anything else..we will just get it as we need it!

Darling's 37th Week Update

Little Darling's Size: Yay! Baby has reached full term. He's practicing some skills: inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking. A Watermelon in size!

 

Countdown: 21 days to go!!  

Clothing: Stretchy clothing! Above, the dress is from Express..

 
What I Miss: WINE!!! Lately, I could use a glass daily!

Cravings: Unsweetened ice tea at McDonald's! Only $1.00 :) & chocolate!  Not very hungry these days..

 
Exercising:  Walking...

 
Symptoms: Restless leg syndrome.. Mild contractions..Feeling very anxious lately! Heartburn..ugh!!!

Total Weight Gain:I'm back up to 145lbs

 

Gender: ITS A LITTLE MAN!!!! We decided to keep his name a secret till the day of his birth!

Sleep: The Doctor said to take some Tylenol PM..to help me sleep... I'm so darn anxious!

Movement:  ALL THE TIME! We went to see 21 Jump Street tonight..and I could tell he didn't appreciate the loud noises! :)

On a Positive Note: We are getting closer! It has been soo crazy driving around with a car seat in the back! Yet, exciting...!!   We started our taxes..just need to check up on a couple of things...so that feels good to have a good start!

A Message To Our Darling: We are all getting excited to meet you!!!! Your room will be just about ready by next weekend!!!! And, we will pretty much have everything we need at first to bring you home! WHEW!  Oh, we got your play-yard!  Its super adorable.....

Darling's 36th Week Update

Little Darling's Size: He's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on his own. His skin is getting smooth and soft and his gums are rigid.A coconut in size! 

 

Countdown: 28 days to go!!  

Clothing: Its depressing to see all the summer bathing suits out in the stores!! I hate bathing suits to begin with....and now with pregnancy ugh!

 
What I Miss: WINE!!! Lately, I could use a glass daily!

Cravings: Unsweetened ice tea at McDonalds! Only $1.00 :) & chocolate!  Nothing has changed...did Imention wine?

 
Exercising:  I started a yoga dvd for pregnancy and it has really helped with the stiffness and back pain!

 
Symptoms: Restless leg syndrome....!! Mild contractions..

Total Weight Gain:So, I had an appointment this past Thursday..and I actually lost about 1.5lbs!  144lbs

 

Gender: ITS A LITTLE MAN!!!! We decided to keep his name a secret till the day of his birth!

Sleep:HORRIBLE! I fall asleep..then wake up for like 4 hrs... My mind is going a mile a minute. Feeling extremely anxious this week... We have so much to do right now... and getting our taxes done is number one!

Movement:  ALL THE TIME!  I met with the mid-wife and she said he is definitely low.. his head in down! I'm already 1 cm dilated.. Its getting uncomfortable! She recommended getting in a pool and doing yoga to assist with the pressure..

On a Positive Note: I found the most perfect print for his room! Lets just say it would be from his Daddy! I thought our car-seat was getting put in last week..but its actually this Monday! We had a baby basics class last week and learned a lot. Small to big things! It was very informative for Dads too!!   This week we have a breastfeeding class which I am really looking forward to!

A Message To Our Darling: Your mommy is going nutty this week! BUT, don't worry, I'll get it together :)  Please please...wait till your due date!! love you!

Darling's 35th Week Update

Little Darling's Size: A butternut squash in size! From here on out, he won't get much longer, but he's plumping up.

 

Countdown: 35 days to go!!  OMG!

Clothing: Comfy only! I may not look so cute these days..but I really don't care :)

 
What I Miss:  A big glass of wine!!

Cravings: Still...unsweetened ice tea at McDonalds! Only $1.00 :) bbq sauce with french fries...

 
Exercising:  Walking...walking! BUT, I am not able to walk that fast these days..

 
Symptoms: Not sure if I can continue to wear my wedding rings! Getting pretty tight :) Contractions are here and there... shoot right down my thighs...ugh! Increase use of bathroom..and sleeping is yucky...

Total Weight Gain: 145.5... I gained 1 pound in 1 week!

Sleep: Like I said earlier...YUCK..

Movement:  ALL THE TIME! and..its getting higher..During church today, he was all over the place! Making me jump myself at time!

On a Positive Note: We purchased rocker/recliner chair for the nursery today! Got a good deal..on a nice chair! YEAH! We will have it in two weeks :)   The art print and changing cover arrived in the mail..and I already put them in their home! My goal is to finish with all the tiny stuff this week...and to pack my official hospital bag.. While on Pinterest, I came across this creative DIY hospital survival kit... take a lookie! Thank you to My Own Road!

A Message To Our Darling: Oh, your room is coming along!!! Today, you were moving and grooving during church! It was really funny..at times a bit uncomfortable but over all your Gigi had a big smile on her face. I was just telling your Daddy today how excited I am to see you for the very first time.  We are both so curious to know what you look like... your finger..toes and nose! Oh, and by the way, your Gigi thinks you are coming one week early for some reason :) But, all I ask is that you don't arrive on March 29th for that is your Daddy's birthday and I want you to have your own day...all to yourself! BUT, we do realize you have your own plan... :)  We love you so much already!
